Guide To Tatlisu
Tatlisu, which translates as sweet water, is approximately 30km east of Kyrenia. Tatlisu is an ancient settlement set amongst the Besparmak mountain range and a site of important Neolithic archaeology. Renowned for its unspoiled landscape, natural beaches and coves, it is possible to see the coastline back to Girne and the long stretch of the Karpaz peninsula to the west. Without a doubt Tatlisu is a beautiful part of the rugged coastal area of North Cyprus.
The village itself is about 5 minutes car journey from the villa and offers a few restaurants, bars and shops but still maintains a very Cypriot way of living with friendly, local people offering help and guidance to the expats and holiday makers.

The new Korinium Golf and County Club located just 15 minutes drive away in Esentepe, is an 18 hole, international standard, championship golf course which features 3 practice holes, a private club house and a public restaurant and bar. There is also a gym, pool and spa for those guests who prefer a more relaxing day.
Port Cyprium Marina at Kucuk Erenkoy is set to provide 500 professional berths in addition to a host of leisure facilities. When this Marina opens in late 2010, expect the bars, restaurants, shops and private beach to bring a host of additional tourists to the area.
For those who prefer a quiet holiday, why not just explore the local nature – just back from the village are the pine and Cyprus tree forests, olive groves and the Besparmak mountain range – all within a short distance and ideal for strolling.
